Shipping Policy

Effective Date: June 25, 2026

This Shipping Policy explains how Vertical Collective, LLC ("Vertical Collective," "we," "our," or "us"), operating the Vertical Aminos website ("Site"), processes and ships orders. This Policy should be read together with our Purchase Terms & Conditions and Refund & Return Policy.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Policy.

1. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed in the order received, typically within one (1) business day of payment confirmation.
  • Orders placed on weekends, U.S. federal holidays, or after our daily cutoff time are processed on the next business day.
  • Orders requiring additional verification (high-value orders, address mismatches, fraud-screening flags) may take longer to process. We will contact you if additional verification is needed.
  • Orders paid via manual payment methods (Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, ACH, wire, cryptocurrency) are not processed until payment is received and confirmed on our end.

2. Shipping Carriers and Methods

We ship through major carriers, including but not limited to:

  • USPS (Priority Mail, Ground Advantage, First Class)
  • UPS (Ground, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air)
  • FedEx (Ground, 2Day, Standard Overnight)

Available carriers and service levels are displayed at checkout based on your shipping address and order weight. We reserve the right to substitute carriers or service levels of equal or greater speed when necessary.

3. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address, order weight, dimensions, and selected service level.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable except where we made an error in processing or shipping your order.
  • Promotional free shipping, when offered, is limited to the contiguous 48 United States and to standard service levels unless otherwise stated.

4. Delivery Estimates

Estimated delivery times shown at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery is subject to:

  • Carrier service performance
  • Weather, holidays, and natural events
  • Customs processing (where applicable)
  • Address verification and accuracy
  • Delivery routing in your area

Vertical Collective is not responsible for delivery delays caused by the carrier, weather, customs, holidays, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

5. Shipping Destinations

5.1 United States

We ship to all fifty (50) U.S. states and the District of Columbia. Some products may have additional restrictions based on state law; restricted items will not be available for purchase to addresses in those states.

5.2 U.S. Territories

We may, at our discretion, ship to U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, etc.). Additional shipping costs and longer transit times apply. Some products may not be available to these destinations.

5.3 International

We currently do not ship outside the United States. Orders placed with international shipping addresses will be canceled and refunded.

If international shipping becomes available in the future, this Policy will be updated to reflect customs, duties, and import-compliance terms.

5.4 APO / FPO / DPO

We do not ship to military APO, FPO, or DPO addresses at this time.

5.5 PO Boxes and Freight Forwarders

  • PO Box addresses: accepted only for USPS service levels. Carrier services like UPS and FedEx cannot deliver to PO Boxes.
  • Freight forwarders, mail-forwarding services, and parcel-locker services: orders shipped to known freight-forwarding addresses may be subject to additional review or refused at our discretion. Once a package is delivered to a freight forwarder, our responsibility for the shipment ends.

6. Address Accuracy

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Vertical Collective is not responsible for shipments that are:

  • Delayed due to incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Delivered to the wrong address provided by you
  • Returned to us as undeliverable due to a customer-provided error

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to a customer-provided error, we may, at our discretion:

  • Reship the order after the customer pays for new shipping and any address-correction fees, or
  • Issue store credit for the product cost only (per our Refund & Return Policy)

We strongly recommend reviewing your shipping address carefully before completing checkout. Address-verification services may suggest corrections at checkout where available.

7. Signature Requirements

**Standard orders: no signature required at delivery by default. ** High-value orders (over $250 in product value): we reserve the right to require a signature at delivery for security purposes. Signature requirements will be applied automatically at our discretion based on order value, destination, and prior account history.

Customers may not waive a signature requirement we have applied.

8. Packaging

Orders are shipped in discreet, plain packaging without external Vertical Aminos branding. Outer packaging does not indicate the contents. Internal packing slips include only your order details and the recipient name; no marketing materials are included.

9. Order Tracking

Once your order ships:

  • A tracking number is automatically emailed to the email address on your order
  • Tracking information is also visible in your account at verticalaminos.com (for orders placed with an account)
  • Tracking may take up to twenty-four (24) hours to begin updating after the label is generated

10. Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title for shipped products transfer to the purchaser upon delivery of the shipment to the carrier (FOB Origin). This means:

  • Once we have given the package to the carrier and received a tracking number, the shipment is the customer's property
  • Loss or damage occurring after this transfer is between the customer and the carrier
  • Approved claims for damage occurring during transit may, at our discretion, be resolved per the Refund & Return Policy if reported within seven (7) days of delivery and supported by photo evidence.

11. Lost, Stolen, or "Delivered But Not Received" Packages

If your tracking shows your package was delivered but you did not receive it:

  • Check with neighbors, household members, and your building's mailroom or front desk — packages are sometimes left in non-obvious locations
  • Wait twenty-four (24) hours — carriers occasionally mark packages as delivered before they actually arrive
  • File a claim with the carrier — once a package is marked delivered, the carrier is the responsible party
  • Vertical Collective is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier but reportedly not received by the customer. This is between the customer and the carrier.

12. Refused or Returned Shipments

  • Packages refused at delivery without prior authorization from us will be returned to our facility at the customer's expense
  • Once returned and inspected, refunds (where applicable) will be issued per the Refund & Return Policy, less original outbound shipping
  • Re-shipment requests require payment of new shipping costs

13. Damaged Shipments

If your package arrives visibly damaged:

  • Photograph the package before opening, including the shipping label and any damage to the outer packaging
  • Photograph the contents when you open the package, especially any damaged products
  • Contact us within seven (7) days of delivery at support@verticalaminos.com with the order number and photographs
  • Approved claims will be resolved per the Refund & Return Policy

14. Carrier Delays, Weather, and Holidays

We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by:

  • Severe weather (snow, hurricanes, floods, etc.)
  • Carrier system outages or labor disruptions
  • U.S. federal holidays
  • Public health events or government action
  • Customs delays (where applicable)
  • Any other circumstance outside our reasonable control
  • We will provide tracking information so you can monitor your shipment directly with the carrier.

15. Changes to This Policy

Vertical Collective reserves the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice. The version posted on the Site at the time your order is placed governs that order.
