Communications Policy

This Communications Policy explains the types of electronic communications you may receive from Vertical Collective, LLC ("Vertical Collective," "we," "our," or "us") when you place an order, create an account, or otherwise interact with the Vertical Aminos website ("Site"), and how you can manage those communications.
By providing your email address, phone number, or other contact information to us, you consent to receive the communications described in this Policy in accordance with applicable law.
1. Categories of Communications
1.1 Transactional Communications
These are required for the operation of your account or order. They include, but are not limited to:
- Order confirmations
- Payment confirmations and receipts
- Shipping notifications and tracking updates
- Delivery confirmations
- Payment instructions for manual payment methods
- Refund confirmations
- Customer-support responses
- Abandoned-cart reminders for orders you started but did not complete
- Account-security notices (password resets, login alerts, email-change confirmations)
- Required legal or policy updates
You cannot opt out of transactional communications while you have active orders, an active account, or an active affiliate enrollment. These messages are necessary for us to fulfill our agreement with you.
1.2 Marketing Communications
These include newsletters, product announcements, promotional offers, loyalty-program updates, and similar content.
We send marketing communications only with your consent You may opt out at any time (see §5) Frequency: typically one to four (1–4) marketing emails per month, subject to change
1.3 Affiliate Communications
If you are enrolled in our affiliate program, you will receive program-related communications including referral notifications, payout summaries, performance reports, and policy updates. These are considered transactional for purposes of your affiliate enrollment and cannot be opted out of while your enrollment is active.
1.4 Survey and Feedback Requests
We may occasionally request feedback on products, orders, or customer service. These are sent only to customers with completed orders and can be opted out of by replying or by contacting us.
1.5 Review Invitations
After a successful order, we may send a one-time invitation asking you to leave a review of your purchase. These are governed by our Review Guidelines and can be opted out of at any time.
2. Email Communications
All email communications are delivered through Resend (a transactional email service provider) on our behalf. Emails will display as being sent from a verticalaminos.com domain.
We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act (15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq.), including:
- Honest sender identification
- Truthful subject lines
- Clear identification of marketing messages
- A valid physical postal address in every marketing message
- A working unsubscribe mechanism in every marketing message
- Honoring unsubscribe requests within ten (10) business days
3. SMS / Text Message Communications
Vertical Collective does not currently send SMS or text-message communications. If we begin offering SMS communications in the future:
- Opt-in will be explicit and separate from any other consent
- We will comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) Messaging Principles and Best Practices
- Standard message and data rates may apply
- Frequency will be disclosed at opt-in
- You will be able to reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance
- You may also opt out by contacting us
4. Push Notifications and Other Channels
We do not currently send mobile-app push notifications, browser push notifications, automated voice calls, or postal mailings (other than shipping packages). This Section will be updated if any of these channels are added.
5. How to Manage or Stop Communications
5.1 Marketing Emails
To opt out of marketing emails:
- Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email
- Update your preferences in your account settings (where available)
- Email us at support@verticalaminos.com with the subject Unsubscribe - [Your Email Address]
- Opt-out requests are processed within five (5) business days; some emails already in queue may be delivered before the opt-out is fully effective.
5.2 Transactional Emails
You may not opt out of transactional emails while you have active orders, an account, or an affiliate enrollment, as these are necessary for the operation of those activities. Closing your account or completing all orders will stop most transactional communications, except those required by law or to complete pending transactions.
5.3 Account Closure
To close your account and stop most communications, contact support@verticalaminos.com. We may retain certain records as required by our Privacy Policy (e.g., for tax, fraud-prevention, or legal compliance purposes) even after account closure.
6. Consent at Order Placement
When you place an order, you affirmatively consent to receive transactional communications related to that order (including abandoned-cart recovery emails for any cart you started but did not complete). This consent is captured at checkout along with your acceptance of our Purchase Terms & Conditions and is documented in our records for dispute and compliance purposes.
You are not required to consent to marketing communications to place an order. Marketing consent, where requested, is collected separately and may be withdrawn at any time without affecting your order.
7. Email Authentication and Anti-Phishing
We authenticate our emails using SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to help prevent forged emails claiming to be from us. If you receive an email purporting to be from Vertical Aminos that you believe is suspicious:

8. Service Providers
We use the following service providers for electronic communications:
- Email delivery: Resend
- Email log retention: stored within our infrastructure (Supabase, hosted on AWS)
- Bounce / complaint webhooks: automated handling to maintain sending reputation
- Each provider is bound by a written agreement limiting their use of your contact information to providing services on our behalf.
9. Record Keeping
For each communication we send, we retain a record that includes:
- The recipient address
- The category and content type
- Send timestamp and message identifier
- Bounce, complaint, open, and click events (where available)
These records support delivery verification, troubleshooting, compliance with anti-spam laws, and defense against disputes (including chargebacks).
10. International Recipients
Email and other electronic communications may be sent to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By providing your contact information, you consent to this processing.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Communications Policy from time to time. The version posted on this Site at the time you provided your contact information governs that consent, except where new communication types are added (which require fresh opt-in where applicable law requires it).
